Just back from a holiday up at Gairloch fantastic place

I commented on the other video, and this one is just as moving. Nice memories.

I was resident here, and can say that it was a very good place to be homeless. Quite sad watching the film. I am now married with three kids, and I'm very grateful to the staff, who I won't name here, for what they did for me.

I do family research and my husband is descended from the McKenzie's of Gairloch. We long to visit one day...

I first visited Gairloch ten years ago and fell in love with the place. The people are lovely, warm and welcoming. It has a fantastic range of restaurants to choose from and there is lots to do. Why not try walking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing and it even has its own golf course. I now holiday in Gairloch and the surrounding area three times a year. The video is great.

I have sailed to Gairloch and anchored there. Wish I still had my yacht and was at anchor. Lovely music.

absoloutely love this place. my aunt lives there & as a kid i spent some wonderfull summers there. although i hear theres artificial football pitches ect now. last time i was there you had to untangle the sheep from the nets on the one grass pitch. been far too long.

blew the exhaust to pieces on my motorhome, called in at the big garage in girloch, fantastic set of lads, fixed it for me in 20 minutes and charged me £15, just shows the generosity of the locals, lovely video, cant wait to get back up , thanks for sharing.

What a beuti! i remember when i was 7 years old i was aboard that ship my best friends dad is a cook for the ship, i havent seen him in 10 years i think its about time i go back to halifax and pay a well deserved visit to this ship again, its going to be weird climbing aboard a ship after i did all my infantry work.
